Doom Island as it appears in Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals
Doom Island is a location in the Lufia series. It is a floating island that appears along with the Sinistrals and serves as their base of operations, from which they devise and carry out their plots to seize dominion over the human race. The Fortress of Doom is located atop a mountain on the island.
Doom Island seems to be kept aloft by the power of the Sinistrals, as implied by Daos trying to send the island crashing into Parcelyte after his defeat at the end of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals and the island's fall at the end of Lufia & the Fortress of Doom.
