The Egg Dragon is an optional superboss in Lufia: The Legend Returns. It appears on the 5th floor of the Ancient Maze and can be fought after making all three wishes.
If the party defeats the Egg Dragon, it will offer to join them. If they refuse, they can fight it again for more EXP, LP, and gold; if they accept, they receive both the Egg Dragon and the Egg Sword, which has a good chance to instantly kill enemies.
Strategy[]
The Egg Dragon has the highest HP of any enemy in the game, and some extremely powerful attacks to boot. It can damage the entire party with Sunny Side Up, do 5000+ damage to a single character with Egg Paste, and instantly kill a character if it hits him or her with Scrambled Egg. Most of the Egg Dragon's attacks inflict fire damage, so Flame Amulets will help the party survive.
